Who is responsible

BIMCityDrop is responsible for your personal data on bimcitydrop.com. Contact: support@bimcitydrop.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address (to sign in with an email link) and whether it is a school address (for student discounts and tester access).

Orders: the area you draw, your project lot if you mark one, the options you choose, the place name you searched, the result of each order and how many times you downloaded it.

Surveys: your answers to the optional feedback survey after a download.

Waitlist: your email address, the city you were interested in and your language.

Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, kept for security (rate limiting, abuse prevention) and troubleshooting.

Payments: handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We receive the order status, the amount and your email; we never receive your card or bank details.

How we use it

To run the service (sign you in, generate and deliver your models, apply your discounts and limits), to send emails about your orders, to send launch news to the waitlist (only if you joined it; every email has an unsubscribe link), to improve the service with survey answers, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (sign-in), Resend (email delivery), Render (web hosting), Cloudflare (domain, security and file storage), Autodesk Platform Services (cloud Revit processing — it receives the map geometry of your area, not your email) and Paddle (payments). Each one processes data only to provide its service to us. Some are located in the United States.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language and settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Account and order records: while your account is open and up to 2 years after, for support, taxes and fraud prevention. Generated model files may be deleted from storage after 30 days; you can generate them again. Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or we launch and you choose not to create an account. Security logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to close your account, by writing to support@bimcitydrop.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Mexico or some US states) you may have additional rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy here with its effective date.
